Weekly Missionary Prayer Requests
Africa
During a kids' church service in an AGWM Urban Tribes church in Ethiopia, a young girl learned about the needs of people living in the war torn parts of her own country. AGWM missionaries Scott and Karen Hanson share what happened next: Though the little girl had no money to put in the offering, she was determined to give—she removed her brightly colored toy watch and put it in the offering basket. May Jesus continue His precious work in this little girl's heart, and in the hearts of children worldwide!
Asia Pacific
Based in Manila, Asia Pacific Media seeks to empower believers across Asia Pacific to use media of all kinds to share Jesus with every people group in the region. Recently they received the following message: "Our ministry in the Cru handles a social media page. We post a lot about helping believers grow in their faith. A high school student stumbled upon our page. He messaged us asking how to start a ministry in his high school. We contacted him and connected him to one of our missionaries. He's now in college and takes part in helping reach his campus." We celebrate God's ability to take our simple efforts farther than we could ever imagine!
Eurasia
Our team recently hosted a retreat in Azerbaijan. One woman decided to give her heart to Jesus and another decided to be baptized. Pray these new believers will be emboldened to share their faith in the community. Our prayer is to see more disciples of Christ in Central Eurasia!

Europe
Property has just been purchased for new Roma church plant in the village of Jarovnice, Slovakia! Out of more than 1,000 Roma villages in Slovakia, more than 20 have been thoroughly reached with the message of Jesus. As of last year, 12 strong churches have been birthed, with more in process, and every church is experiencing revival. Each of these churches fully engages with the others, working to propel hope in Jesus forward as far and fast as possible. “Yet more villages need to be reached,” say AGWM missionaries John and Daralena Bean. Roma pastor Marian agrees: "We need more servants to come help us. Many villages are crying out to us for help in terrible situations, and we do not have enough people to send. They call, and we do not enough people to answer. Pray with us for more helpers to come!”
International Ministries
Global University writes, "Today there is tremendous need for wisdom and good judgment (along with boldness to stand for what is right and just)! How to get there? A two-step process: 1) Respect of and obedience to (fear of) the Lord, and 2) Knowledge of God through study of and faith in His Word." Serving as the correspondence education branch of the Assemblies of God since 1948, Global helps believers in every corner of the world have access to greater knowledge of God through the study of His Word. Please pray with us for every student of Global University, and for every member of the faculty and staff.
Latin America Caribbean
The Wings of Freedom community in the Dominican Republic is known for its by-the-hour room rentals, tragically high suicide rate, and rampant alcohol and drug abuse. Most of the children in this community live in single-parent homes or with relatives in incredible poverty. But ChildHope is also there, serving 500 students packed into a makeshift school—a rented house that is bursting at the seams. In the 5 Loaves and 2 Fishes School, children sit on floors, in outdoor classrooms, and in rooms packed with desks. Pray with us for endeavors to build a new facility that will provide existing students and 400 new students with quality education, hot meals, and the transforming, restoring message of Jesus!
