CURRENT PRAYER REQUESTS

Please take some time to pray over some of the prayer requests submitted to Living Water in the past few weeks. If you would like to submit a prayer request, fill out the prayer request form above.

  • Chuck had an abcess in his abdomen and at the time, it was thought that follow-up surgery would be needed. However, due to his age (79) and overall health, it has been decided to "wait and see" with increased monitoring for any signs of infection. Please pray that another infection does not show up AND that the proper monitoring decisions are made (white cell counts, temperature, etc). A decision on whether to resume a medication that suppresses the immune system needs to be made. Also, that Chuck does report any abdominal pain immediately. - Ev

  • Please pray with me for a total, lasting, and complete cure of cancer. God, bless me with complete physical health and inner peace. Remove the fear of cancer returning and replace it with a firm faith in God’s protection.

  • My daughter Margaret fell at work and broke her arm. She is hospitalized and will have surgery to repair it. Pray that all goes well. - Helen Hasset

  • Please cover me with prayer and intercede so I may continue to serve The Lord, faithfully. The enemy has been relentlessly attacking those around me, attempting to deflect their issues and discourage me from the promises and the love between The Lord & I. Additional prayer for our senior staff and our church as a whole. - Jeremiah

  • Please pray for Jaime Bailey who went to the hospital last week with stroke symptoms. She is only 50 and has lived in a nursing home for years. Please pray for her healing and that she will serve the Lord. Thank you

  • The Bolingbrook Health Clinic (at Compass Church Bolingbrook) has lost their government funding and are in need of additional sources to meet the needs of those without insurance in our area. Please pray that funding will be provided.

  • Lord Jesus, my family and I find ourselves in a situation that feels truly hopeless. We are overwhelmed by the weight of mounting debt and the lack of employment, and we struggle to see a path forward. Grant us the divine wisdom to navigate these struggles and the strength to endure this trial. We believe that only You can provide the way out; please reach into our lives and restore our hope.

  • Pray for Logan. He has been fighting cancer for quite a while. He has been diagnosed with epilepsy and is taking medication for it now. Pray for him to feel and experience relief from all his symptoms. Pray for my wife who needs constant oxygen and medications. Pray for her to get well.

Prayer Requests from the missionaries we support:

Convoy of Hope is one of our missions partners and they are “Boots on the ground” in Jamaica after the devastating hurricane. Here are ways that Convoy of Hope would like to partner with us in prayer for this island:

  • Pray for those impacted by Hurricane Melissa. Pray they would lean into God, their refuge and strength, their ever-present help in trouble. Pray they would find comfort in their Savior.

  • Pray for the local Church. The Church has the unique opportunity to show up for their community, carry the burdens of those around them, and truly show them the love of Christ. Pray for believers in Jamaica to have endurance and courage.

  • Pray Jamaica recovers quickly. Pray for their local agencies, organizations, and businesses. Pray they can rebuild their infrastructure so communities have resources like hospitals, schools, and churches.

  • Pray for peace across the land. In the chaos of a disaster’s aftermath, supply chains are disrupted, communication lines are down, and people are just trying to make it day to day. Pray for peace among neighbors. Pray for safety for those in shelters.

Our missionaries have prayer requests too. AGWM (Assemblies of God World Missions) post new prayer requests from missionaries around the world every Monday. If you love to pray, be sure to click the link below and pray for the needs of missionaries, regional leaders, and Pastors who are in need of a move from God and want to see their local communities changed!
